Sports Night Returns for Season Finale
Sports Night is to return with a two-part season finale
on May 9 and May 16th in it's normal Tuesday timeslot. This is good news for fans, and bad news for "Talk to Me", which looks doubtful for a Fall return.

CNN: "Sorkin still writing on 'Sports Night', 'West Wing'"
There's a short article at CNN.com about Sorkin
that deals with the political troubles the show is
having. Also, there's yet another hint that NBC or
HBO might pick it up, if ABC decided to end things.

Sports Night wins! TV Guide's "Best Show You're Not Watching"
Last night the TV Guide Awards folks told the world what we've known all along: you should be watching "Sports Night" with the rest of us. The link is to an article at TV Guide that talks about the trials the show has been through, and the difficulties of keeping it on the air. Good news, though...ABC still seems committed to the show, if they can ever find a slot. And if ABC does pull it, it seems likely that they'll shop it to another network.

LA Times article on Sorkin
I was digging around for the interview with Josh Malina (Jeremy) about the games the cast plays on the set, but found this instead. Very cool article on Sorkin, but also covers the relationships between him and the cast. Evidently, Malina has been in every Sorkin play and film.

Variety reports some bad news:
ABC will roll out four new shows in less than three weeks as part of a spring sked shuffle set to start late next month.
The Alphabet's plans include an early end to the season for the critically hailed but ratings-challenged half-hour
dramedy "Sports Night," which will now wrap its run for the year on April 4. Twenty of the 22 segs ordered will have aired by then; ABC will run the remaining two this
summer.
